Christmas in July

The town of West Jefferson, North Carolina has decided that Christmas is so nice they’ll celebrate it twice!

The annual Christmas in July Celebration is a tradition going back decades and a nod to the area’s strong Christmas tree farm industry.

Christmas in July takes place on the streets of downtown West Jefferson on the first Friday and Saturday in July, many years coinciding with the Fourth of July.

Christmas in July features arts and crafts, food vendors, stages for live music, cloggers and other entertainment, Civil War re-enactments, and lots of fun for the entire family.
